• KDD Group purchased the equity for Mehdiabad Zinc Company (MZC). KDD is the major shareholder of MZC.

• The exploration and feasibility activities relating to the project have been carried out.

• According to the latest exploration result; Mehdiabad Zinc Mine is the largest or second largest reserve of Zinc in the world.

• MZC has signed a contract with IMIDRO for the exploitation of the MEHDIABAD ZINC MINE for 25 years and establishing a concentrate and Smelting plant of Zinc with capacity of 100,000 Ton per Year.
